Talking about death…

Many of us accept that we’ll die - just not in this lifetime.

Talking about death is not fatal. It’s good for life.

How To Die gathers a range of people who dance on the edge of life, to learn what death can teach us.

Our first season introduces a palliative care counselor, biker and ex-traffic cop, cemetery director, funeral consultant, tombstone maker, spiritual end-of-life counselor and more.

Our second season features an undertaker, a paramedic, a hospice nurse, a forensic pathologist, a cremationist, an aquamationist (!!), a mystic rabbi, a Hindu priest and more.

Our third season features a renowned right to die activist, a terramationist (human composting specialist), a grief companion, a Death Row chaplain, and some other fantastic guests.

Our fourth season features a veteran of dementia care, a breast cancer warrior, a forensic anthropologist, a Ghanaian coffin maker, a taxidermist, a master of the high court, an anatomy teacher, and other incredible people.

How To Die

is hosted by Sean O’Connor,

a writer, performer, memorial celebrant and end-of-life carer.

Not an expert, just alive, for now.
